The INPS circular No. 71 of April 2^nd, 2003 states that the registration in the Joint Interprofessional Funds is voluntary and free of charge. It can be carried out at any time in the year - by October 31^st of each calendar year  - through the contribution declaration form DM10/2, providing for the payment of 0,30% of the contribution for “involuntary unemployment”.

Considering that this payment is mandatory, choosing to transfer it to one of the Interprofessional Funds is surely advantageous as well as strategic.

Once the registration has been sent to INPS (National Social Welfare Institution), this institution will provide for the transfer of the relevant payment to the chosen Fund. The registration is revocable, it has a duration of one year and it is tacitly renewed if not expressly cancelled.
